Children's Council
2020 - 2021
The 2020-2021 School Council have been nominated by their classmates this week. Evie, Tilda, Joseph, Ruby, Max, Georgia, Henry and Alice will be leading meetings with Mrs Barber on how we can make our school even better. This week they have helped interview teachers for Class 3/4.
2019 - 2020
New School Council 2019 – 2020
The School Council met today and discussed playground improvements with Mrs Barber. The children suggested new football rotas, new toy storage and new toys for playtimes. They are keen to begin a Friday Tuck Shop and had lots of suggestions for After School Clubs. Watch this space for more news on their ideas.

2018 19
School Council
The School Council have been very productive in choosing new equipment for our outdoor play area. The have shared ideas with their classes and chose 4 new items which we hope to purchase soon.
School Council News Spring 2019
The school council have had several meeting with Mrs Barber offering their suggestions for school improvements. They have ideas for football and basketball on the playground, new play equipment on the field, playground markings and a replacement pirate boat. They are also setting up a school tuck shop with healthy choices Monday to Thursday and chocolate biscuits on a Friday. Snacks will cost 10p each.

We have a newly appointed School Council and they are full of good ideas already.
School Council News Spring 2018
The School Council met this term and carried out a playground audit. They we looking at improving our school grounds, finding any items broken that needed replacing and generally tidying up the school play areas. As a result new benches will be chosen, more wildflower planting will take place in the Summer and a whole school litter pick is planned. The School Council will work with the ECO council on reducing waste in and out of school.

The School Council has members from Year 1 to Year 4. They meet regularly with Mrs Barber to help make decisions on the school environment. Last term they helped plan our Bring and Buy Sale in aid of Children's Cancer Care and raised £103.00. This term they have evaluated our playtime and have chosen new playground toys and equipment for the field. They are now busy looking for ideas to plan our Sponsored Charity event.
