We, at Upton Snodsbury C.E.First School aim to develop our children to their fullest potential in a Christian, caring and secure environment. Every child will experience a broad, relevant, creative and exciting curriculum that responds to their needs as individuals and each child nurtured and encouraged to develop as a learner.
Our Aims
- Our school to be known as a caring school, where children gain confidence, are positive happy learners who achieve highly both socially and academically.
- To ensure all children reach their full potential of excellence and to foster an ethos of challenge and high expectation to meet the demands of the 21st century
- To help our children learn skills and attitudes that will enable them to learn how to learn and will provide experiential and explorative learning opportunities for children to build on and apply what our children already know
- To continue to pursue high standards through developing a broad and cohesive curriculum with an emphasis on independence and creativity, supporting our children to take responsibility for their learning, make choices, ask questions and probe understanding
- To develop children’s Christian and moral values enabling them to understand and appreciate our ever changing and diverse world
- To work in partnership with parents and the local community and will strive to strengthen opportunities for all to become involved in our children’s education in and out of school
