The Friends of Upton Snodsbury School (FUSS) work hard to raise funds for extra resources at school. This enables us to broaden the range of learning experiences for all our children and we are immensely grateful for their support. Over the last year, the Friends have funded the following projects:
- Boat in the play ground
- Gym equipment
- Bibles and hymn books
- Musical instruments
- School discos and entertainers
- Children’s Christmas Pantomime at The Swan Theatre
- Children’s Christmas party and presents
FUSS is not solely concerned with raising money though; we do like to have fun, with and without the children. We tend to meet in the local pub and all are welcome to come along, bring new ideas and join us for a drink. We also organize ‘movie nights’ for the children, Easter egg hunts and children’s parties.
All parents are automatically members of the Friends Association. You may wish to become a member of the Committee, or just offer your support and join in with the events.
